Thank you for choosing Art on 30th as a place to grow as an artist! We are looking forward to seeing you in class. Below is our cancellation and make up policies for classes and workshops.

cancelled class policy

Occasionally Art on 30th may find it necessary to cancel a course or workshop due to scheduling conflicts or instructor cancellation. If this occurs, registered students will be contacted and will be refunded the full course tuition and any additional fees.

Transfers are not possible using Eventbrite without a student getting a refund then signing up for another class. We can make recommendations of other available classes coming up.

REFUND POLICY

Effective October 25th, 2019...

If something should come up and you are unable to attend your class/workshop, please give us
48 hours notice prior to the start of the class/workshop for a refund.

Eventbrite fees are now non-refundable so Eventbrite won't return them when a refund is processed. Any class/workshop refund initiated at any time will now see a refund processing fee deducted from the full amount (i.e. $199 class will see $7.54 deducted from the total).

Eventbrite has two exceptions to this policy: you will receive a full refund of Eventbrite fees when an event is cancelled —or— if you were charged multiple times in error and if you request a refund directly with Eventbrite within 7 days of purchase so they can correct the mistake.

After 48 hours, no refunds will be given.

make up policy

Effective April 1st, 2022...

Life happens and you may miss a class. You will be allowed to make up one class from the session.

Students must
call ahead and ask the front desk if there is an available table/chair and so that the instructor can be prepared. DO NOT just show up to redeem a make up slip as full classes will have NO CHOICE but to turn away the make up student if there are no available tables/space.

Please request a “make up slip” that is active for the next 30 days.

You may make up your class in any class that has room, it does not need to be the class that you originally took.

Make ups are limited to one class per session.

Students CANNOT 'save up' multiple make up slips from various classes they have missed to redeem in lieu of tuition and pro-rate a 5 week class for the remaining weeks not covered by the make up slips. Only one makeup slip can be used on a particular class at a time. We DO NOT pro-rate our classes and workshops.

(i.e. if a student has three make up slips, they cannot use all three slips on "Intermediate Abstract" class and ask to pay for the remaining two weeks...instead, they can use the first slip for "Intermediate Abstract," the second slip for "Intro to Drawing," and the third slip for "Botanical Watercolor"...etc.)
