What You'll be doingAttending Classes & "Out & About" Trips
Artists will be studying under all three mentors at Art on30th, as well as taking trips to museums and art exhibits for lessons off-site. Setting Goals Artists will be encouraged to set a goal to sell $500 worth of their artwork during their time in the program. Putting on a Group Show Artists will help curate, hang, and market the program's culminating student group show collectively, as well as bring attendees to this show. Entering Calls for Art Artists will enter all calls for art hosted at Art on 30th as well as enter at least two calls for art outside of our community for added experience and exposure. Creating + Collaborating Artists will create a body of work, a cohesive collection of art that represents their newly-developed visual voice, that contains a minimum of six pieces. Artists will also learn how to paint with other artists in the program to create and develop collaborations. Certificate of Completion Each artist will receive a Certificate of Completion that indicates what they've achieved. |

ready to apply?
The mentorship program is open to any eligible artists. Applications indicate where you are in your artist development and will be reviewed by a panel of professional artists. Deadline is Friday, June 24th, 2022. The selection process is juried by the mentor panel and notifications will be sent on Friday, July 1st, 2022.
