Meghan Kharpertian, WED AM instructor
Meg has been painting for most of her life and graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelors degree in Visual Art. After spending her 20s working as a creative in the corporate world and painting in her spare time, she recently made the switch to pursuing a career as a professional artist. Meg grew up in Miami, spent the last 10 years in Brooklyn, and moved to San Diego in 2023. Inspiration from all three cities is visible in the bold marks and vibrant colors depicted throughout her work. Meg paints primarily with acrylics in a realistic style, often incorporating elements of surrealism, minimalism, and conceptual art. She’s passionate about creating with others and is excited to help you master realism!
