This workshop with internationally-recognized artist, Chuck McPherson, is for painters that seek more from their artwork. Strong composition lends a "voice" to your art that can turn heads.
Once you have created an attractive composition, it's all about the fun of painting. You will learn how glazing brings attitude, emotion, and depth to your work. His methods will help you find “your true voice” and improve your stylistic goals.
Workshoppers will paint from one of three references brought to class chosen through a layout review at the beginning of the day.

About the Presenter
Over nine years as a watercolorist, Chuck has garnered hundreds of awards for his paintings, earning triple Signature status with the National Watercolor Society, the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies and The San Diego Watercolor Society. He served as Third VP on the 2011 NWS Board and two years as the Member Shows Director on the SDWS Board, plus a concurrent three-year stint as Newsletter Chair on the Board of Directors for the San Diego Museum of Art Artists Guild. His latest position was 1st Vice President on the Board of Directors of the Foothills Art Association.
This intuitive artist's medium of choice is watercolor and he paints full-time, following his passion and building a reputation.
