the painterly print: monotypes with golden open acrylics
Come learn with Nancy Seiler, who is a GOLDEN Working Artist and the presenter for our GOLDEN Lecture & Demo!
The Painterly Print: Monotypes with GOLDEN OPEN Acrylics
Monotype is simply the term used for prints that can only be made once. Using GOLDEN OPEN Acrylics (slow-drying acrylics that clean up with water). You can take your time painting on a gelatin plate and pull up to three monotypes per painting. After the prints are dry, you can add ink or dry media such as colored pencils, pastels, charcoal.
Nancy will show you some tricks to create interesting multi-media pieces with the monotypes you make today. Please bring a few photos for reference.
