In this class, you will learn how to:
Students will walk away with the skills to arrange and paint a still life realistically from anything they have in the fridge. They will take home 2-3 finished paintings of food during their 5 week class. **IMPORTANT NOTE** We want to keep this course as odorless and toxic-free as possible. About the instructor
Katie McCloskey
Katie McCloskey is an elementary art teacher whose passion in life is art and food. She first discovered she enjoyed painting still lives of food in a studio class at the University of Arkansas School of Art. She uses bright oils to capture the life and comedy in her food paintings. Katie recently moved to San Diego and is excited for the opportunity to share her love for cuisine with other artists. |
