about the instructor
Bonnie Lewis
Bonnie has been painting, drawing, and collaging since 3rd grade. Today she combines these processes into mixed media artworks that conjure up images, dreams and personal stories that are most often narrative, surreal and sometimes quirky. Bonnie has a BA from Temple University and an MA in Art Education from Arizona State University. She has exhibited her work both in local and national galleries. Concurrent with her studio practice , she taught art in Arizona public schools, museums and art centers. She served as director of education at I.D.E.A Museum in Mesa Arizona. Additionally, she owned a successful art and architecture tour company for 20 years. Bonnie continues to stay curious and and travel the world finding new inspiration to bring into her work and her life. Website |
