Come learn with Nancy Seiler, who is a GOLDEN Working Artist and the presenter for our January 2020 GOLDEN Lecture & Demo!
Would you like to feel confident when drawing plants? Nancy will teach you the steps to drawing petals and leaves through skeletal structure, fleshing in, correcting your illustration through a layering process. You'll learn tips and tricks such as how to draw a curling leaf or petal, symmetry, and more. We'll work in graphite pencil during this three-hour class. You leave with the fundamentals of plant drawing approaches which can be applied to your fine art or nature journal. Nancy is a certified classical botanical illustrator and has been teaching these techniques since 2003. Attendees will also receive free QoR watercolor samples! No experience necessary. Some materials provided. The skills learned in this workshop can be applied to painting classes. Supply List

about the Golden Artist Rep
Nancy Seiler
Born in Akron, Ohio, Nancy Seiler received her Visual Communications degree from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1981. She is a Golden Artist Educator for Golden Artist Colors, teaching art workshops from her studio in Missoula, Montana and abroad. Seiler has exhibited her acrylic paintings and botanical illustrations since 2002. In the summer of 2014, she co-owned a successful pop-up gallery in Bigfork, Montana. Website | Golden Acrylics |
