Join us for a fun workshop creating collages and illustrations—the Matisse way!

Students will learn to create a collaged image with your preferred subject matter of choice. The focus will be on creating mirror images.

Topics Covered:

Basic illustration techniques
"Drawing with Paper” techniques
DIY painted papers to use in your work
Creative drawing techniques
Pattern creation

In this workshop, students will leave with 1 or 2 finished collages after the workshop and a greater sense of confidence in creating illustrated works of art!

Supply List:

Various acrylic and watercolor paints
Sketchbook paper (mixed media or watercolor)
Paper for sketching
Scissors
Markers, pencils, regular pens, etc...
Various brushes
Fork
Glue stick or rubber cement
