A critique session with roberta dyer

Spend time painting figures alongside other figurative artists and have an opportunity to discuss your work with instructor and mentor, Roberta Dyer.

Students will get 1-on-1 feedback and critique time with Roberta, who will spend the session offering her helpful tips and critique. Bring 1-3 paintings you are currently working on that you’d like help with.

There is no supply list—bring whatever you will need for three hours of painting.

about the instructor

Roberta Dyer

Roberta Dyer is a Signature Member of the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, The International Society of Acrylic Painters, and The San Diego Watercolor Society. She has received numerous awards in a variety of venues. She has served as a juror for competitive shows and has demonstrated and led painting groups for several years.  Roberta is the past Director of the International Exhibition for the San Diego Watercolor Society and has served as president of that same organization. Roberta's art is best described as expressive, whether figurative or abstract. She uses a combination of bold color and mixed media techniques to present her subjects in unusual ways.

Art on 30th is ADA approved in all public spaces of the building with a wheelchair accessible front entrance and a handicap parking spot in our back parking lot with a ramp that leads to our wheelchair accessible back entrance. Studios on the 2nd level are privately leased and not part of our public space; artists can apply for wheelchair accessible studio spaces on the 1st floor as part of our Coworking Studios that we offer to the public for a monthly fee  with no commitment/contract (see our Rentals page for more info).
