bubble glass wave

Picture
Learn the basics of glass fusing by creating beautiful housewares using the 'bubble technique' and a glass kiln!

Create your own Enamel Wave glass piece using enamel and bubble paints that can be put in a stand or option to hang.

Completed pieces will be ready for pickup at the gallery approximately 5-7 days after the workshop.

A great workshop for all skill levels, no pre-requisites required to create fun and beautiful works made of glass.

Please wear paint-friendly clothing and closed-toed shoes.

about the Instructor

Diana Griffin

After working 37 years for the Department of Defense as a business financial manager, Diana Griffin found her calling in glass artistry. She has spent the last six years as the founder and artisan of Queenie Glass and Sass. Diana now spends her time split between making original works of art and sharing her love of glass artistry with others. She is on the Education Committee of the Art Glass Association of Southern California, and provides glass education to school age children and tutorials for adults. Queenie uses Instagram and social media to share glass STEAM related content and her fun adventures experimenting with different techniques. ​

Art on 30th is ADA approved in all public spaces of the building with a wheelchair accessible front entrance and a handicap parking spot in our back parking lot with a ramp that leads to our wheelchair accessible back entrance. Studios on the 2nd level are privately leased and not part of our public space; artists can apply for wheelchair accessible studio spaces on the 1st floor as part of our Coworking Studios that we offer to the public for a monthly fee  with no commitment/contract (see our Rentals page for more info).
